This page is for the people in front of the camera. Every project by pete john needs people willing to take part — in a series whose rules are fixed beforehand and which is not altered afterwards.
The rules differ from project to project, and so does the way in: two projects take an application, ECHOES takes an enquiry. What awaits you, what you receive for it and how to get in touch is set out with each project below.

Eight people doing something that genuinely belongs to their life — in three parts: an analogue Polaroid series, an unedited one-minute video and one sentence from the person portrayed.
Taking part: A two-minute short application. If you are selected, you receive all details and the contract before you decide. The Polaroids are made nude, the video clothed. €100 guaranteed, plus a 10% share.

Eight people who give old things new value — by repairing, upcycling or turning them into art. The working process is condensed into one minute, alongside eight Polaroids and one sentence.
Taking part: A two-minute short application: which object, which plan. No craft training required. One appointment or several, depending on your plan. €50 guaranteed, plus a 10% share.
ECHOES

People who have become part of our public memory — from sport, music, film, politics, culture and the internet. ECHOES meets them again in the present.
Taking part: There is no application here. Anyone interested in an encounter gets in touch themselves: five details, everything else in person. And anyone with someone in mind simply passes the page on.
